Incident – Structure Fire

Engine 21, 24 & Support 26 run afternoon fire.
Hendron and Reidland-Farley Fire District were alerted to respond to the 2600 block of Clarkline Rd for a dwelling fire. The caller was a neighbor and reported that 4 children had exited the house, came and told the neighbor that their house was on fire.
First arriving companies found a single family residence with smoke and fire showing, they went to work. Hendron Engine 21 secured a water supply and laid into the scene. Engine 24 arrived and assisted the other operating companies with extinguishment and overhaul. Quick work was made of the fire, Hendron Assistant Chief Lowe had the Clarkline Command.
Strong work to both departments and we hope the residents are able to get back on their feet soon.
