Incident – Structure Fire

At 1048 Hendron and Reidland-Farley Fire District were alerted to respond to the 3600 block of Schneidman Rd for a reported fire.
Engine 24 & 21 responded and arrived to find a fire in an appliance with some extension into the dwelling. Crews put a line in service to extinguish the fire and went to work checking for further extension.
Mercy Regional Emergency Medical Service assisted the resident pet with some supplemental oxygen after removal.
The investigation was turned over to the Kentucky State Fire Marshal Office for origin and cause determination.
